Senior Home Care Assistants are an integral part of the 4uSupport team providing high quality care and support needs to service users in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes their independence. This role also involves supporting the company’s frontline office team, working with team leaders in order to support with communication to/from office with service users, their families, carers/support workers and professionals. The ideal candidate will need to have a care background.
This position is contracted for 35 hours per week over 5 days (Monday to Sunday). It will include a shift pattern of approx. 2 days in the office and 3 days working with service users in the community (including 2 evenings per week 3 – 11pm shift) as well as working every other weekend either in the office or in the community. The ideal candidate will need to have a care background and preferably experience in a team leader position within a busy domiciliary care environment.
This role is predominantly field based providing high quality care and support in line with care plans and risk assessments as well as participating in the provision of an on-call service outside of normal office hours to ensure consistency of service. This will include communicating with service users and staff and dealing with day to day issues as well as updating care plans and risk assessments for service users as required. The ideal candidate will need to have a care background and preferably experience in a similar training role within a health and social care environment.
This role is predominantly office based supporting with inductions and training of a team of care staff able to then work in domiciliary care setting. This will also include supporting a team leader in the delivery of training courses in line with CQC requirements (Care Certificate) as well as keeping records up to date. This will include training records as well as completing relevant checks involved in inductions such as completing DBS Checks and reference requests.
This position will be for 30 hours per week over 4 days (Tuesday - Friday) and hours of work will predominantly be 9 - 5pm. However, this role will include supporting with shadowing of new staff that may entail hours between 7am and 11pm as part of 30 hours contracted per week.
